What You Need to Know About Rust Protection

We get it—you’re not just looking for a quick spray and pray. You want real answers before investing in rust prevention. Below are the most common questions we get from drivers across Michigan, answered clearly and honestly.

Service & Scheduling Questions

When can I book an appointment?

You can book anytime online. Most customers are scheduled within 3–5 business days, depending on location and season.

Do I need to bring my vehicle to you?

Nope! We’re 100% mobile. We come to your home, office, or lot—wherever your vehicle is parked.

How long does the process take?

Most vehicles take about 45–60 minutes. Larger trucks or fleets may take a little longer. We’ll let you know before we start.

Do you work year-round?

Yes! We operate in all four seasons. As long as temps are safe for application and roads are dry, we’re good to go.

Product & Application Questions

What kind of rustproofing do you use?

We use a premium, oil-based formulation specifically designed for Michigan climates. It penetrates deep into seams and hard-to-reach areas to push out moisture and coat metal surfaces.

Is it safe for newer vehicles?

Absolutely. In fact, applying it early on helps preserve your investment and avoid premature rust.

Does the treatment drip?

Some light dripping is normal within the first 24–48 hours as the oil settles and penetrates. It’s harmless and part of the process.

Will it affect my paint, driveway, or brakes?

Nope. We use protective mats under the vehicle, and our techs are trained to avoid overspray. Brake rotors and painted surfaces are shielded and handled with care.

Results, Lifespan & Maintenance

How long does the treatment last?

Our standard application provides protection for 12+ months. For optimal results, we recommend reapplying annually—especially before winter.

Can you apply over existing rust?

Yes. While we can't reverse corrosion, our treatment slows the spread and seals the surrounding metal to limit further damage.

Do I need to clean my vehicle beforehand?

A quick rinse helps, especially if the undercarriage is muddy or salt-covered. But we’ll prep and inspect before we start.

Pricing & Packages

What does it cost?

Prices vary based on vehicle size and add-ons, but most services start around $120–$200. We also offer fleet pricing and seasonal specials.

Do you offer bundle deals for multiple vehicles?

Yes! Book multiple vehicles at once (family or fleet), and we’ll apply a discounted rate.

How do I pay?

We accept all major credit cards, cash, or digital payments at the time of service.

Are there any hidden fees?

Never. You’ll get a clear quote before we begin—no surprises, no upsells.
